The ARMA Edmonton Chapter is always looking for individuals interested in serving on the Edmonton Board of Directors. Board positions are one a year term but can run for two years. The involvement on the board is very challenging and rewarding to those willing to commit some extra time to the association every month.

Commitments for the Board members:

• Board meetings one evening per month (all year round) to discuss upcoming events, activities, etc. A convenient time is set by all board members. Meetings usually are two hours.
• Monthly luncheons
• Workshops (if possible)
• Extra activities (Icebreakers, Christmas functions, etc)
• Special meetings called (special activities being planned, large workshops, conferences)

The ARMA Edmonton Chapter is looking for volunteers to become members of the chapter board from July 2007 to June 2008.

Volunteering provides the opportunity and ability to influence the profession in a very positive way and to make a difference for the future of the profession and the new individuals coming into it.

If you haven't already discovered the rewards of being a volunteer leader in ARMA, we encourage you to do so. Before you decide you don't have the time to get involved, stop and think about how much you will benefit. The ARMA Edmonton Chapter board is comprised of volunteers and our volunteers find the experience rewarding, both personally and professionally.
